Ok, so Im low carb d*eting (d*et is a four letter word ya know XP)
I go into LongHorn Steakhouse, am seated and eventually this bubbly waitress comes up to take my order.
"What can I get you to drink?"
"Unsweet"
"Unsweet tea? Sure. Are you ready to order or do you need a minute?"
"Ready"
"OK, what'll you have?"
"Ill have the LaFayette Chicken and Shrimp"
"And what side?"
"Ill just have a large Caesar salad, no croutons"
"The entree comes with a salad, what side item would you like?"
"None, Im on a low carb d*et, cant have any of the sides."
"Are you sure?"
"Yep?"
"Not even a potato?"
"<_< "
"The potatoes are really good"
"LOW CARB - Cant have it"
"Ok then, Ill have that right up"
So anyway, the meal comes (she forgot to kill the croutons on the salad)
Then she says something about she has to help serve drinks, would be away for just a while, but would be back soon. Fine
30 minutes go by, Im having to go to my friend the bartender and ask for drink refills. The manager walks by several times
during the waitresses absence and finally asks who my waitress is, I tell her, then shortly after the waitress quickly reappears,
apologizing for being gone so long.
"Would you like some dessert?"
"Nope"
"Are you sure? The Tuxedo Mousse is just wonderful."
"=/ What part of LOW FUCKING CARB D*ET did you not understand?"
Look, yes I know what wait staff put up with. I have several friends that work in restaurants, many of them managers. But I mean damn, if youre going to be a great waiter/waitress, you HAVE to listen to your customers, not just be a salesperson to boost your numbers.

I am me! Be I misguided or stubborn, I will always rise to the occasion. Be it for a friend or foe who calls upon me. But remember, I am always around and always watching those I love or care for.
Make someome's day, even if it's yours.
